Adam a slight boost for Kimmel’s ratings - Via Matt Carter

We’re going to stay in the world of late-night for another story here, mostly so that we can take a look at whether or not Adam Lambert’s performance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” actually produced some big numbers for ABC. The verdict? Based on the numbers in the 18-49 demographic, Adam earned Kimmel a tiny boost for his show versus the week before as it rose from a 0.5 rating to a 0.6. (A 1.0 in the demo is around 1.28 million viewers.) However, when comparing it to the 18-49 numbers throughout the week the ratings were about the same — but this could actually be considered impressive once you remember that there was all-new TV across the board Thursday night, and many other programs were down thanks to both competition from the networks along with the NFL draft dominating cable. On another note, has anyone taken a look at Justin Bieber’s new album cover for “Believe” yet? Take a look at it side by side with the “Trespassing” cover — we don’t think that Bieber ripped Adam off by any measure of the word (these covers are designed for months), but there are some coincidental similarities.
