AMERICAN IDOL extraordinaire Adam Lambert (right) is all set to rock Malaysia in October.
Jointly organised by Marctensia and Sony Music, the Adam Lambert Glam Nation Tour Live in Malaysia 2010 will take place this Oct 14.
As this is Lambert’s first tour, fans can expect an audio and visual spectacular, both theatrical and atmospheric, from the tour.
"I hope the audience will be able to escape for a few hours into a world full of glam, drama and excitement," says Lambert.
"I’m confident we’ve put together a show far beyond the price of the ticket. I’m looking forward to connecting with fans all across the world with this show."
The Asian leg of Lambert’s Glam Nation Tour will include stops only in Kuala Lumpur, Hongkong and Manila for Southeast Asia before continuing in Australia and New Zealand.
As this will be a full-length concert, expect his fans from Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Brunei to fly into Kuala Lumpur to catch the glam superstar in action.
The venue for the concert and tickets prices will be announced soon.
Since losing to Kris Allen in last year’s American Idol, Lambert has shrugged off the defeat with some career-making moves.
He recorded Time for Miracles, the lead track for the movie 2012. The song was lauded ahead of its release by Queen’s guitarist Brian May, who described himself as being "completely blown away" upon hearing the track.
Lambert’s debut album For Your Entertainment has sold over 600,000 copies since making its debut at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 chart in November.
His hit single, Whataya Want From Me, written by Pink and Max Martin, became the singer’s first #1 hit on the Billboard charts.
It also went to the top 10 in Australia, Japan, Sweden and Finland, and reached #1 here and in Singapore.
