Funny video to lighten things up: Adam Lambert in Hawaii

Adam Lambert Tones Down His Act for Malaysia- Eonline

Adam Lambert's latest shocker? Looks like he's a businessman first.

The openly gay star tweeted that he's dialing back the flamboyant man-on-man action for the Malaysian leg of his Glam Nation tour:

"While I don't believe that my glamnation tour is in any way offensive I have agreed to make a few minor adjustments out of respect for the Malaysian government. Looking forward to a fun show."

Lambert isn't the first pop star to have to alter his act when performing in the socially conservative country. Gwen Stefani decided to forego the belly-button ring and her usual stripped-down fashion statement to placate the powers that be.

Conversely, Beyoncé axed a date in the country and instead booked a show in Indonesia rather than try to adhere to the country's stringent standards, and Christina Aguilera avoided the country altogether during a trek through the region.

Adam Lambert sending more praise to Ke$ha - "Take It Off" (K$ n' Friends version)

For those of you who have seen Ke$ha's new video for "Take It Off," you will find that it actually has a few things in common with Adam Lambert's recent hit "If I Had You." Each video includes its share of colorful characters, with the singer acting as a ringmaster of sorts for the craziness surrounding them. In the cast of Adam, it was in the forest -- meanwhile, Ke$ha had the majority of her new video set indoors.

So what does Adam think about this new video? In a post on his Twitter account, he proclaims it to be a vast improvement on the original one Ke$ha released back in August:

"Kesha's new video for Take It Off is amazing!!! Much better than the first one."

Really, your taste for this new version of "Take It Off" is going to largely depend on if you have any tolerance for Ke$ha's music. If you can't stand the vocals, then the new video isn't going to do anything for you.

Adam certainly has a positive relationship with the singer, though, having exchanged multiple messages over the course of the year -- of course, there's also that famous "kissing session" that occurred last winter.

Adam Lambert Supports Gay Marriage With Twitter Photo

Rocker Adam Lambert is showing his support for gay marriage with a new Twitter photo.

The photo features the 28-year-old American Idol season 8 runner-up with his mouth duct taped and “NOH8” written on one cheek, in the style of the ongoing NOH8 Campaign against Proposition 8, California's gay marriage ban.

The picture, however, appears to be a photoshopped imitation of photographer-activist Adam Bouska's work. Bouska and his partner Jeff Parshley added four hours to their Monday photo shoot in Chicago due to overwhelming demand, gay website ChicagoPride.com reported.

Lambert, who came out gay last year on the cover of Rolling Stone, is currently touring in China.

“Hong Kong! The skyline is a trip!” he tweeted on Monday.

Other famous faces involved in the NOH8 Campaign include: Isiah Thomas, men's basketball coach of the Florida International University Golden Panthers, and his son, Joshua Zeke Thomas, actress Tori Spelling and Cindy McCain, wife of Arizona Senator John McCain, and their daughter Meghan, a pro-gay Republican. Houston Dynamo Mike Chabala was photographed in Houston for the campaign last week, Sofia Vergara, Chloe Sevigny, Rob Reiner Speak Out On Anti-Gay Bullying,Pink, Ricky Martin, Bette Midler Attend Gay Fundraiser,Ozzy Osbourne, John Mellencamp Want Anti-Gay Groups To Stop Using Their Music.

Manila Bulletin- Adam Lambert Loves Lea Salonga and Lumpia

MANILA, Philippines – "American Idol" Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert is no stranger to Pinoy culture having grown up to the music of award-winning Filipino singer, Lea Salonga.

“I have so much respect for her. I remember listening to the Ms. Saigon soundtrack album over and over again when I was younger,” Lambert said on “TV Patrol,” Oct. 10.

Back in high school in California, Lambert's Pinoy friends introduced him to Filipino dishes.

“Pansit and lumpia...in every house I would go every afternoon...so good.”

The singer, who’s known for his hits “For Your Entertainment” and “If I Have You,” had a successful one-night concert “The Glam Nation Tour: Adam Lambert Live in Manila” at the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds on Oct. 10.

Upon arrival, Lambert gushed, “It’s been amazing!”

“The only thing I know about the Philippines is my hotel and the gym and some mango,” he quipped on "Showbiz Central" about his experience in Manila.

Lambert said his concert is divided into three parts.

“In the beginning, it is mysterious, seductive and a little bit dark. And then the middle section is very vulnerable, strip down, acoustic arrangement, very honest. And the last one is very over the top and fun and lots of dancing.”

The popular AI alumnus refers to his Glam Nation tour as “my baby.”

“This is my chance to take my music on the form of entertainment album and really bring it to life for the audiences first across the US and now across the world.”

The singer is a hands-on performer.

“It’s really important for me to make the concept and string it all together. So, I’ve to pick out my outfits, I’ve got to cast my dancers, work with choreographers, put in lighting and the sound designers to come up with what I really like.”

Growing up in California, the gender-bender singer “felt that I was judged” but was fortunate enough to be spared from bullying as a teen.

“I was lucky that I never really experienced a lot of hardcore bullying. People pretty much left me alone,” he recalled.

“But I was also very senstitive to it. I curtailed some of my behavior and some of my actions because I don’t want to get bullied.”

Did his sexual orientation cast a shadow over his chance in winning the grand prize in “American Idol?”

“No. I mean, I wasn’t really actually given the chance to completely, 100 percent talk about my lifestyle after the show. I think it was basically all speculations made by people by assuming.

"And they’re right, too. I made no effort to hide anything about myself. I’m just….being happily talked about it.

The singer thinks he handled the situation very well by not dwelling on it.

“There’s nothing that I can do. It’s out of my control.”

Asked about the two new "American Idol" Season 9 judges, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler, Lambert said, "I used to love JLo that much and [her] 'Waiting for Tonight' [song]. I love her. She’s beautiful. I think she’ll bring a fresh perspective [to the show].”

Will Simon Cowell be missed in the top rating talent show?

“Yeah, of course. I think Steven Tyler is really fantastic. I mean, he’s a rock icon. So I think that’s gonna be…. I think he’s a character, you know, who used to be eccentric himself .

"I think people will miss Simon but change is good
