Adam Lambert - Whataya Want From Me (Video On Trial) by umokthenok

Adam Lambert- NRJ - Hit Music Only! #1 "Aftermath"

Adam Lambert quotes from E! True Hollywood Story revealed

E! sent out a press release on Wednesday detailing some of their plans for a E! True Hollywood Story about former "American Idol" singer Adam Lambert, and we got some pretty enlightening quotes about Adam's life and what some of those close to him have to say.

Take a look, and then read on for analysis:

•"I lost my virginity at 21 years old.and it was to a man, not a woman.uh, and it wasn’t very good. Sometimes it takes a little while to learn how to do that correctly.”- Adam Lambert
•“He was probably one of the more evil infants. He cried a lot!”- Eber Lambert, Father
•“Still, to a lot of people, Adam Lambert not winning ‘Idol’ – they still can’t believe it was even possible.”- American Idol Judge, Randy Jackson
•“It’s kind of weird that he is now a sex symbol.” – Neil Lambert, Brother
This collection of quotes makes it pretty clear that this will be a far-reaching special, and will focus on more than just the music that made Adam a global superstar. We already have Randy bringing up one uncomfortable topic, and based on what Adam himself says the subject of his sexuality looks to play a role.

The full E! True Hollywood Story airs November 21, and you can come back here shortly after it debuts for a full recap.

Adam Lambert "Aftermath" is No 1 on NJR Radio Finland

Finnish radio station NRJ (Energy) "Hit Radio Only" has posted their station's Top Ten, and the number one song on the list is Adam Lambert's newest single "Aftermath."

Perfect timing, as Lambert's next stop on his sell-out international Glam Nation tour is Helsinki, Finland on November 6, 2010. The Helsinki date kicks off the European leg of Glam Nation, winding down what will be a seven-month long journey through North America, Asia and Europe.

Adam Lambert, 'American Idol' season 8 runner-up and fan favorite, is on tour promoting his debut album For Your Entertainment, which was released on the RCA label.

Fans in the United States remain frustrated that Lambert was allowed only three singles to be released in this country. "For Your Entertainment", Lambert's choice and the title cut from the album, did not do well on radio. It can't be known whether the audience just didn't connect with the song or if it was chiefly the backlash from Lambert's sexually-charged AMA performance that caused the song to tank. Most think lack of radio support was brought on by the latter.

The second Lambert song, "Whataya Want From Me," went platinum and is still being spun regularly on Top 40, Hot AC and AC formats. In fact, the song was so well received, original songwriter P!nk decided to cut her own version.

Lambert's third and current U.S. song "If I Had You," a dance-styled number, has done pretty well on the charts, but was not as successful as its predecessor.

Then, the only question that remains is: will RCA take the chance to put out another single before Lambert cuts a new album in the spring?

Is it too late to release another single in the U.S.? Are we now too close to American radio's mandatory audience torture, the switchover to 24/7 holiday tunes?

As we've seen, "Aftermath" is doing very well in Europe. "Fever" is the current single in New Zealand and Singapore. And "Sleepwalker" has a very good shot based on feedback from Canada. Any of these three could potentially do well here. And with Lambert releasing an acoustic EP, it's possible that one of these tracks could be released in an unplugged format.

Frankly, to have a Ryan Tedder production like "Sleepwalker" languishing on the sidelines ("Halo" and "Already Gone," anyone?) seems like a monumental waste. Although as I've written in my blog, the emotional "Aftermath" would be a good way to help today's teens cope with bullying and low self-esteem.

It's hard to know what is happening when no definitive response has been given. Lambert himself has suggested there may not be another single for American radio until his new album is recorded.

Maybe all that's left for fans to do is cross their fingers and hope that RCA is making the right decision, either way.
