Adam Lambert Addresses Accident Rumors via Twitter
Adam Lambert, a prolific Twitter user, took to the popular social media site to refute rumors that he was involved in an accident. On Friday, June 17, 2011, the former American Idol contestant used his iPhone to send the following message via Twitter: "An accident?? Nope. Where do these things come from?"
Where do these things come from? The singer didn't elaborate on who told him about the rumor or where he first learned about an alleged accident. Thankfully, it isn't true. It's also a good thing that Adam Lambert was able to squash any reports of his being involved in an accident before the rumor went viral and took on a virtual life of its own.
Celebrity death rumors and hoaxes are all too common. Adam Lambert was smart to address his rumored involvement in an accident right away. Hopefully, his quick action will stop the accident rumor from evolving into a story about his death.
Although there is no evidence pointing to how the rumor began, the important thing is that Adam Lambert is alive, well, and still communicating with his fans and followers on Twitter. Glamberts everywhere can breathe a collective sigh of relief.
