There are only five possible explanations: 5. Lady Gaga has tapped Adam to play Judas in the video for her hit single Judas. The goatee would totally be appropriate for that, right? And the streak in the hair? Very Gaga. Very Judas.
4. Adam has an audition for True Blood and wanted to pump up the glam rock image. I could totally see this Adam being the mayor of a California vampire district, brought in to help Bill find Sookie in the land of the fairies. And I'm sure the sexual tension between Adam and Eric Northman would be titillating, to say the least!
3. Adam lost a bet. Recent RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Raja, who just so happens to be Adam's friend and makeup artist, bet him that if she won, he would have to grow out some crazy facial hair and show it off on the red carpet.
2. They're re-making The Devil's Advocate and Adam wants the Al Pacino role. Unfortunately, what Adam didn't realize is that they were calling him in for the Keanu Reeves role, but at least he got to see what he looks like with creepy facial hair. And he's perfected his Pacino impression, which will definitely come in handy at some point in his career, I'm sure.
1. Adam's actually been possessed by the Devil himself. The Devil has taken over Adam's body, and it's starting to manifest on the outside through the growth of facial hair.
