Adam Lambert's 'If I Had You' pushes over 700,000 in track sales
Adam Lambert is keeping the chain of success going with "If I Had You," even more than half a year after the third single from "For Your Entertainment" first broke onto the radio. According to a new report from USA Today, it looks like some people who got iTunes gift cards over the course of the holiday season have been putting them to good use.
In total, 21,000 people (a more than respectable total) picked up the song over the course of the past seven days, which in turn allows the track to be at what is now an all-new milestone of over 700,000 sold. To be precise, the song is sitting at 717,000 after the newest numbers.
In total, Adam has sold over two million digital downloads based solely on his original music alone. The only two former "American Idol" contestants to have more downloads in the past week were Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson, who is really getting more than usual in virtue to a duet she recently did with Jason Aldean.
