Adam Lambert feeling the love in Canada

With this week's edition of the Billboard charts, we have a bit of a surprise. Even though Adam Lambert's "Sleepwalker" is not yet featured on the Canadian Hot 100, "If I Had You" actually managed to move up three spots to #34 following its position last week at #37. This is a remarkable achievement, even more so once you consider the fact that the song has been sitting around on the chart for 24 weeks now.

As for the success of the new single, it was recently added by another station in Canada for the Hot AC format along with one in Top 40. As of this writing Adam is not on the main page for either one of these formats with the new song, but it is building up spins fast enough (particularly in the Hot AC) format that we could see a debut in the coming weeks if he can keep it up.

"Sleepwalker" was announced last month as an additional single for Canadian listeners -- at this time, there are no plans for RCA to release another song from "For Your Entertainment" here in the States.
