[V] Guerilla Gig: Adam Lambert - TV tonight Melburnians got a pleasant surprise yesterday when American Idol‘s Adam Lambert took to Federation Square with a free performance in the latest Guerilla Gig for Channel [V].
Lambert performed 4 songs accompanied by keyboards, including the title track from his new album Trespassing. He also performed a slowed-down, acoustic version of Whataya Want from Me.
Channel [V]‘s Danny Clayton hosted the secret concert, which follows other Guerilla Gigs on unsuspecting members of the public including Good Charlotte in Adelaide, Ed Sheeran and Boy and Bear in Sydney, Grouplove in Brisbane, Children Collide in Geelong, Faker in Launceston and even Plan B in Paris.
Highlights from the Adam Lambert event will be on-air and online at Channel [V] from Thursday.

Either Adam Lambert is seriously winding his followers up or this is a MEGA BIG CLUE that he is pretty near to signing on with American Idol as a judge.
The singer followed Mariah and American Idol in quick succession in the last 24 hours on Twitter.
Rumours have been circulating for a long time about Adam’s possible role on the show and the singer has confirmed he is in talks for the job.

Aguilera is currently in the process of relaunching her solo career with the track 'Your Body', which is said to have recently leaked online.
Speaking on Twitter today (August 25), Lambert excitedly praised the track and in particular its hook, tweeting: "I love @TheRealXtina's new single! "Your Body" SING THE SH*T OUTTA THAT HOOK mama! whew."
He continued: "No one sings like xtina... no one." Lambert was later asked by a follower who he rates best - Aguilera or Lady Gaga - to which the 'Trespassing' star responded: "Xtina and gaga are both great for their own reasons.
They're different artists.room for all... aint a competition, its music."
