Adam Lambert is in Shanghai to perform at a private event this weekend and he was greeted at the airport last night by a large group of fans. It is not known how his flight schedule was discovered, but somehow a "greeting committee" of fans was organized among Adam's Chinese Glamberts. Being the gracious guy that he is, despite spending many hours travelling across the world, Adam met the fans in good spirits. He stopped to give hugs and sign autographs, no doubt being a once-in-a-lifetime thrill for those lucky fans. Watch Adam interacting with the Chinese fans in the video below:
Adam will be performing for a private gig, so even though this will be the first time he sings his new single Better Than I Know Myself live (assuming he performs the song), it is unlikely that the public will see the performance. According to a local fan, the flyer for the event says no photos or video are allowed. Of course, that hasn't stopped Glamberts in the past, but it is unknown if any of the attendees are hardcore Adam Lambert fans that will be willing to break the rules.
Adam Lambert has a huge fan base around the world and it is nice to see him receive such a warm welcome upon arriving in a foreign land!
