Toya Delazy to open for Adam Lambert - Channel24 SA
In 2009, Toya who hails from Kwa-Zulu Natal, graduated from Howard College in Durban and soon after signed up with Sony Music Africa in 2011. Her debut album Due Drop was released in April this year.
Toya is best known for her singles such as Pump It On and Love Is In The Air.
Lambert, a former American Idol alum, is one of many international acts on their way to South Africa, including Linkin Park and Lady Gaga.
The tour, presented by 94.7 Highveld Stereo, 94.5 KFM and M-Net, is presenting shows at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town on Tuesday 13 November and at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg on Friday 16 November.

Adam Lambert made his television acting debut last night on Pretty Little Liars and performed two songs off his new album. The exposure on this popular ABC Family channel show was a huge success, as seen by how fast his music moved up the iTunes chart. After the episode aired, three of his songs moved up the Top 200 Pop Songs chart, including his latest single, Trespassing. Cuckoo broke the top 75 and his Grammy nominated song Whataya Want From Me also saw a surge in sales.
Fans took to Twitter during the Pretty Little Liars episode to show their support and even made the top ten worldwide Twitter trends for "#AdamOnPLL" and "OMG Adam Lambert." Adam obviously saw the tweets because he thanked fans via Twitter: "Thanks for the support tonight!! Pretty Little Liars was a blast."
In addition, Adam's fans did their part to support sales by looking for tweets about his performance and telling people to buy his new album. Adam Lambert's "Tasteful" WeHo Afternoon - Celebrity-gossip
The "Trespassing" singer opted for his usual chic black style as he sported a classic t shirt, jeans and rubber sneakers, while making his way past the awaiting shutterbugs. In other news, Adam was eagerly awaiting the debut of his newest role on the small screen as he tweeted, "Excited for you all to see the Pretty Little Liars Halloween episode tomorrow night! Had such a great time on the train...er set."
The highly-anticipated episode, which premiered this evening, was titled “This Is A Dark Ride?" and gave all of the show's fans plenty to think about for the upcoming season.
"Pretty Little Liars" will have it's winter premiere on January 8.
