I played the role of Linus in the musical "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" (Famous American statement of the late 60's based on the comic strip by Charles Schulz.. - Ed.). I loved the feel of a live audience. Moreover, an important point was that the first time I was in the company of children, with whom we had a lot in common. They were artistic and creative. For the first time, I felt that I have friends, company. In the middle grades, in 12-14 years, I began to have difficulty with communication in the school. I had a few friends, I have been to some extent an outcast, a loner. But on Saturday, when I went to rehearse in the theater, I was perfectly happy - there were all my friends. And this was the musical theater. I continued to do this in high school and after school, played in professional musical productions in Los Angeles. It was difficult, if only because there are few musical theater and so little work, after all primarily located in New York.

Lambert and Lauper were so great on stage and their chemistry was perfect. Their voices join incredibly well together. In fact, they were so good that they will most likely record the song together.

“Adam and Cyndi talked after their performance. They want to record their duet of Mad World at the studio and release it. It’s just a project they want to do for fun.”
This is pretty cool news. We are most definitely excited to be able to buy a collaboration like this. With the touches songs get when they are recorded at the studio, it will be just a pleasant sound to the ears.

Adam Lambert Fans Club: Christina Gets Adam's Song
In an interview with Music Week, songwriter Steve Robson revealed that Christina's latest single "Just a Fool," which he co-wrote with Claude Kelly and Wayne Hector, was originally recorded by Adam. "We wrote it to pitch to Pink and it went immediately on hold, but ultimately was cut by Adam Lambert. At the last minute it didn't fit the record so it came back to us," said Robson. The song landed on Christina's seventh studio album Lotus as a duet with Blake Shelton, her fellow coach on The Voice. They debuted the song on an episode of The Voice, which you can watch in the video below.

Adam to Receive Unity Award - Adam Lambert Fans Club
Nile Rodgers' We Are Family Foundation will honor Adam with the Unity Award for "spreading peaceful messages through music" at the We Are Family Foundation 2012 Celebration Gala 2.0. According to Nile Rodgers via Twitter, "Adam Lambert is the 2nd Unity Awardee! It's a very special award typically given to artists who've used their art to unify people." Adam will also perform later in the evening, along with a lineup of special guests including Nile Rodgers and CHIC. The event will also include cocktails, dinner, and a live auction. The gala will take place on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 6:30 PM to 11:30 PM (EST) at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.
