Adam Lambert
Best: “Whataya Want From Me”

Adam Lambert -- New Zealand debuts new single- "Sure Fire Winners"

The international fans of Adam Lambert, the superstar singer and the former American Idol finalist are no doubt thrilled with the fact that a fifth single was released in New Zealand -- "Sure Fire Winners." Adam Lambert's debut album, For Your Entertainment has been a huge hit with fans all over the world. The fans love each song that was featured on Lambert's first album, and the excitement for his follow-up project is building, and Lambert has revealed that he will be releasing the next album most likely in the Fall of this year.
2010 was a fantastic year for Lambert, the Glam Nation tour was a smash success, leaving the fans wanting to see the singer perform even more. The tour wrapped last month in Los Angeles, and since then, Lambert has been taking a break for a bit from music before he starts the new process of preparing to record and write songs for the next album. The singer is nominated for a Grammy Award next month, and the fans are looking forward to tuning in to see if "Whataya Want From Me" gets the award.
What do you think about the fact that another single has been released in New Zealand? Do you wish that there had been another single released in the United States after "If I Had You"?

In this week's update for Adam Lambert's radio airplay here in the United States, we're really seeing much of the same thing that has been happening for the past few months -- meaning that the spin count is staying pretty much the same overall.
According to USA Today, "Whataya Want From Me" is still carrying the bulk of the load with over 3,300 spins across all formats -- however, there is also some support coming in for "If I Had You," as well -- with 782 spins coming in for that here in this country alone.
For those of you still keeping track of the activity in Canada, "Sleepwalker" is starting to slide down the charts. After losing nearly 30 spinds in the past week, it is close to falling out of the top 30 as of this writing.

Adam Lambert sends voicemail to child in intensive care- video
After finding out the story, an Atlanta radio personality managed to do his part to brighten up her day to the best of his ability. You can hear the full story over at this link, but basically he managed to have Adam leave the youngster a voicemail following his Glam Nation performance in Sweden.
From Adam's standpoint, this is just yet another sign that shows that his heart is first and foremost in helping others to the best of his ability -- something that we have also seen in his Charity Water campaign for his 29th birthday. And when quizzed about what kind of direction he’ll be taking with the new record, the superstar added to ontheredcarpet.com,
“I'll be writing a lot of it myself.

Adam Lambert fans use Trending Topic to promote charity. For Adam, the name was one of the more random choices out there -- "Adam Unfbert."
If you want a prime example of what sets Adam Lambert's fans (or the "Glamily," if you will) apart from some other celebritiy fandoms out there, all you have to do is check out this story.
As we wrote about previously, the hot thing for people to do across the internet this weekend (for some reason or another) is to have celebrities hit Twitter's Trending Topics list in some sort of "alternate" form. An example of this would be "Katy Berry" or "Miley Citrus." For Adam, the name was one of the more random choices out there -- "Adam Unfbert."
What really makes this story interesting, though, is what fans chose to do once the term became popular enough to trend around the world -- they promoted Adam's charitable efforts to provide clean water to people in underdeveloped countries. As of this writing, the campaign is nearing the $90,000 mark -- which is certainly amazing once you consider that the initial goal was to have $29,000 raised by January 29.
Are you proud that fellow Adam fans have been able to turn something as simple as a Twitter trend into something inspiring, and what do you think this says about the fandom as a whole?
