Adam Lambert Fans Club: Christina Gets Adam's Song
In an interview with Music Week, songwriter Steve Robson revealed that Christina's latest single "Just a Fool," which he co-wrote with Claude Kelly and Wayne Hector, was originally recorded by Adam. "We wrote it to pitch to Pink and it went immediately on hold, but ultimately was cut by Adam Lambert. At the last minute it didn't fit the record so it came back to us," said Robson. The song landed on Christina's seventh studio album Lotus as a duet with Blake Shelton, her fellow coach on The Voice. They debuted the song on an episode of The Voice, which you can watch in the video below.

Adam to Receive Unity Award - Adam Lambert Fans Club
Nile Rodgers' We Are Family Foundation will honor Adam with the Unity Award for "spreading peaceful messages through music" at the We Are Family Foundation 2012 Celebration Gala 2.0. According to Nile Rodgers via Twitter, "Adam Lambert is the 2nd Unity Awardee! It's a very special award typically given to artists who've used their art to unify people." Adam will also perform later in the evening, along with a lineup of special guests including Nile Rodgers and CHIC. The event will also include cocktails, dinner, and a live auction. The gala will take place on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 6:30 PM to 11:30 PM (EST) at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

Also, viewers can see what is happening behind the scenes, interviews with famous guests, guest passes to the red carpet.

I celebrate life every day and today I had good reason to celebrate. My charity the We Are Family Foundation announced many of the artists for our upcoming gala. This year's gala has suffered many setbacks - from Hurricane Sandy, venue rescheduling problems, to a number of unforeseen deaths of close friends.
Our modus operandi is: we try and give the most with whatever resources are available to us. As I was counting my blessings I recognized our greatest resources are our people. They give when they don't have to which never ceases to amaze me. Some of this year's amazing people are our Unity Award Honoree Adam Lambert (who came to international prominence on the highly rated TV show American Idol), Taylor Dayne, Kathy Sledge (the voice of the song We Are Family), Grandmaster Melle Mel, Anita Baker, CHIC and uber comedian, MC, and turntablelist Russell Peters, guaranteeing yet another incredible show after eleven years.
The great many people who selflessly help us in our mission to try and help make this world a little better for those that don't have it as well as some of us are my American Idols! (Well Russell is Canadian)

In a recent interview with Music Week, British songwriter Steve Robson talked about co-writing Christina Aguilera‘s duet with Blake Shelton, “Just A Fool.” Robson revealed that the song was initially pitched to Pink, but then Adam Lambert recorded a version.
