Ryan Tedder On Working with Adam Lambert - Hollywoodreporter
In addition to working with chart-toppers like Adele, hit songwriter Ryan Tedder is all about American Idol these days. Not only did he write and produce two tracks for Adam Lambert’s forthcoming second album (the final decision on which songs will make the record won’t come until closer to release date) THR: You recently worked with several Idol alums including Adam Lambert, with whom you’ve written two songs. In terms of the progress of his new album, where do you think he’s at musically? Tedder: I think he's a rocker. He can definitely pull off a dance song, but after working with him, I really think he’s a rock dude and one of the greatest male vocalists around, for sure. The first album was trying every musical style under the sun, but I believe his naturally proclivity is rock and I think that's the direction he's going to go. No matter what, I think Adam’s a star. THR: Adam has described the album as slightly more serious, did you get that sense in the studio? Tedder: He’s still super funny and goofy as hell. We just have fun in the studio. He doesn't take himself seriously at all. It's still cheeky and sarcastic, but he definitely knows what he wants. As for me, the only stuff I've ever had success with is when I'm trying to be completely original and not thinking about mirroring what else is out there. Capping off the week with a night of music, Adam Lambert was spotted hanging out backstage at The El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Friday (April 1). On hand at the popular performance locale for an Uh Huh Her show, the "American Idol" alum was joined by boyfriend Sauli Koskinen along with Uh Huh Her band members Leisha Hailey, Camila Grey and Ginger Reyes.

A source claims Adam Lambert wasn’t booted out of Lady GaGa’s birthday party. On March 27th, GaGa celebrated her 25th birthday with a star-studded bash at L.A.’s La Cita Mexican restaurant. Adam attended the party, however a source told US Magazine that he was kicked out for being drunk, or as Perez Hilton put it “Super sloppy embarrassingly drunk!” Well according to E! News, it isn’t true that Lambert was shown the door.
