Gifted with a multi-octave range, classical good looks and a penchant for eyeliner and nail polish, Adam Lambert burst into the public’s eye on Season Eight of American Idol. His album, “For Your Entertainment” debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 3, and hits such as “Whataya Want From Me” and “If I Had You” have been in the Top 20 in the USA and No. 1 in countries around the world. After an almost completely sold-out headlining tour of the United States, he invaded Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Malaysia, The Philippines and many other international cities before heading to Europe. Expect a follow-up album in 2011 and another world tour. Lambert’s star has just started to rise.

The 29-year-old singer and pals dined together at celebrity favorite Mexican restaurant Red O.
Adam recently announced that he’ll be releasing a revamped version of “Aftermath” to benefit The Trevor Project.
“Wait till you hear it - it’s now a hot pop dance anthem,” Adam dished, adding that there’s no set release date yet but that he’s putting finishing touches on the track.

Adam Lambert’s “Whataya Want From Me” vs. Michael Jackson’s “This Is It”, Bruno Mars’ “Just yhe Way You Are”, Michael Buble’s “Haven’t Met You Yet”, and John Mayer’s “Half of My Heart”.
Normally, I’d think Jackson’s posthumous hit was a sure thing, but the song was quietly criticized as not being up to par with his previous material. The voters might just throw us a curveball by honoring someone who wasn’t invited to this year’s AMAs (the Grammy’s biggest competition), probably due to his controversial performance there last year.
