Is Adam Lambert on his way to becoming the greatest American Idol?
According to USA today Adam Lambert was the only American Idol to see his single sales increase. He has sold 659,000 copies of his hit single "If I Had You" and over the holiday season so far the sales for that single have risen 22%. Is Adam Lambert on his way to becoming the greatest American Idol?Of course it is too soon to tell if Adam Lambert will eventually become the most successful American Idol of all time but he is well on his way and it sure is fun to talk about the possibility.
Lambert is the most charismatic and sexy idol so far. He may also be the most talented as well although that is up for debate and you could make the argument that Carrie Underwood is just as talented but we aren't here to argue who has the most talent, we are here to ponder the question of whether or not Adam Lambert is soon to be the greatest American Idol to date.
It appears that Lambert doesn't get the credit he deserves and surely doesn't get the same attention that Underwood and Kelly Clarkson receive. He is also being shut out of the Grammys for reasons unbeknownst to me. The only reason I can think of for this lack of media attention is that fact that he is gay and people are discriminating against him for how he acts on stage. This is simply not fair but that is a topic for a different day.
What we want to know is;
Do you think Adam Lambert will eventually go down as the greatest American Idol or do you think discrimination against him will hold him and his career back?

Adam Lambert got his nomination in the Best Male Pop Vocal Performance category for Whataya Want From Me.
This year’s nominations raise the question of the continued impact of “American Idol,” as none of the show's winners were in the top four fields. Adam Lambert did snag a nod in the male pop vocal performance category for the track “Whataya Want From Me” from his debut album “For Your Entertainment.”

Adam Lambert’s “Acoustic Live!” EP presale is sold out
If you haven’t already ordered a physical copy of Adam Lambert's “Acoustic Live!” five song EP via the pre-sale, then you have missed out on the first printing. Both the EP alone and the “exclusive poster bundle” EP (comes with a limited edition poster of the cover art) have sold out on the pre-sale at Adam’s official website. Only the digital album is currently available for pre-sale. However, if you did not have a chance to order a physical EP yet, don’t worry, it will be available for pre-sale again soon. According to an RCA representative on Adam’s official website:
“We're working on a 2nd printing already, guys, and making slight alterations on the packaging to distinguish it from the first (can you say collectible?), probably with a different colored spine on the CD.”
Lambert’s fans are quick to buy everything they can that is related to the star, so it is no surprise that the EP pre-sale sold out quickly. This is exactly what happened with the Pennyroyal Silver Eye of Horus pendant that was based on a design by Adam. Most likely, even those that have already purchased the acoustic EP from the pre-sale will buy another from the second printing if it is in fact different packaging than the first.
Lambert continues to keep busy, having just wrapped up his Glam Nation tour in London and has now stopped in Paris for press appearances. This month he will perform at the Y100 and Q102 2010 Jingle Ball events and then two Glam Nation hometown shows in Los Angeles.

Adam Lambert Closes Out Int'l Glam Nation Tour
Bringing an end to his lengthy travels, Adam Lambert performed at Shepherds Bush Empire in London, England on Monday night (November 29).
Prior to the UK concert, the "American Idol" alum tweeted about readying to take the stage for his tour's final concert, writing, "Final international Glam Nation tour show tonight at Shepards Bush in London! We are gonna Kill it tonight!!"
Treating fans to tunes including "Music Again," "Strut" and "If I Had You" during the rockin' gig, Adam also sent a big thanks to his tour's opening act following the final show.
The 28-year-old wrote, "@mytoyboxmusic you guys have the freshest sound!!! Thank you for being such a great opening act!!!"
