#35 Adam Lambert - The Popdust 40: The World's Greatest Pop Stars, From Big Bang to Justin Bieber
Only a select few American Idol alums—and even fewer in recent years—have had the good fortune of finding continued success outside the show. Adam Lambert may have lost the battle of Idol‘s eighth season to overall winner Kris Allen, but he’s clearly won the war, continuing to find success with his post-reality TV albums and singles, while presiding over one of pop music’s most fervent followings. He even made a little history on the charts earlier this year, with an album we dubbed the finest of 2012′s first half.

Adam Lambert's Casual Cool LAX Liftoff - via Celebrity-gossip
Getting ready to jet off to his next destination, Adam Lambert was seen making his way through LAX Airport in Los Angeles, CA on Monday (September 24). The “Trespassing” singer looked casually cool for his departure in jeans, combat boots and a baseball cap as he stopped to give the shutterbugs a quick photo opp. In other news, Adam recently inspired a New Zealand fan named AJ to go forward with her documentary idea titled, “The Glambert Project.” Started back in August, the project gives outsiders and fans alike an opportunity to see what it’s like to be a die-hard Lambert lover, or "glambert." Fans from all over the globe submitted videos to be used as part of the doc, which includes interviews from Adam as well, and AJ explained that the reasoning behind the idea was to show just how much impact the pop singer has. “It continues to fascinate me how every Adam concert I go to, everybody gets along and creates these instant friendships, regardless of age,” AJ said,, “I wanted to show to other fans that 'you are not alone' as well as show the world that pop culture is positive and needed in society." Check out "The Glambert Project" below and let us know what you think!
