Adam Lambert In The Studio!
Adam Lambert's Interview for Talk MTV Playground.
Last week, Adam took to a cool, downtown Los Angeles location to film a piece for MTV's Talk@Playground. This will air internationally, but in the meantime, you can check out some photos from the shoot right here.
The concept of the spots are to pair together a musical artist and a leading creative in the fashion world who have mutual respect for each other. They sit down to discuss what inspires them, their work and what drives their creativity.
Adam sat down with SKINGRAFT Founder, Johnny Cota, seen here in the photos.
Stay tuned for an air date and more information.

Ben Jackson Says Adam Lambert Influences his Music, Says Adam is Talented

Here is the Adam mention:
QUESTION: 'Can You Be My Lover' and 'Dirty, Dirty Disco' are two very different songs. What are your influences?
Ben Jackson : As mentioned, I love the sound of Stevie Nicks; but Sheryl Crow, Johnny Cash and R.E.M are also huge influences for me. There is so much around at the moment that is influencing my newer songs and writing, such as Adam Lambert. What a talent, eh?

Adam Lambert mention - My Music Isn’t Too Gay! by Pop singer Sir Ari

I’ve been trying to convince industry big-wigs for over 15 years that housewives and teenage girls couldn’t care less how gay a pop star is. The huge platform of American Idol proved that to be true with Adam Lambert. And his concert I went to in New York was the most exciting and brazenly flamboyant pop show I’ve seen since Boy George. Even white gay rapper Cazwell got over a million hits on YouTube with a video filled with go-go boys from the NYC gay scene.

Adam Lambert Glams Up "AI" - 20 Great Gay Moments In Music - Bilboard
While Adam Lambert didn't make his sexuality a major talking point while competing on "American Idol" -- he later came out in a "Rolling Stone" cover story -- "Idol" viewers and fans at home knew there was something special about the flamboyant contestant. Lambert was out in his personal and professional life well before he hit the "Idol" stage and made his mark as the contestant to watch. On the show, he fired up audiences with his glam rock stylings, sexed-up stage persona and multi-octave range. Though he finished the 2009 season of "Idol" in second place, he remianed the season's breakout star. His major label debut album "For Your Entertainment" has sold more than 800,000 copies in the U.S. and earned him a Grammy Award nomination for the No. 10 Hot 100 hit "Whataya Want From Me." -- Keith Caulfield
